It begins with a wish: to bring happiness to others and to remove suffering from the world. If we cultivate this wish in our mind and become deeply familiar with it through meditation, we are not only protecting others but also building protection for ourself — against our own painful minds of craving, anger, loneliness, and jealousy.
In this half-day retreat, we will practice meditations that lead us into our our own good heart — Buddhist methods for developing wisdom and compassion.
