Gen Kelsang Rigpa
Gen Kelsang Rigpa is an American Buddhist monk, the Western US National Spiritual Director and the Resident Teacher at KMC-Hollywood and KMC-California. He is a close disciple of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso, having received lineage blessings and oral transmissions directly from him.
Gen Rigpa’s heartfelt and practical teachings are presented with warmth and humor, making them accessible to everyone. He shows the joy of living a spiritual life, and is an inspiring example of Buddhism in practice. Through his clear presentation, he is able to help student discover for themselves how to integrate these timeless teachings into our modern world, making everyday life joyful and meaningful.
Kadam Lucy James
Kadam Lucy James is the resident teacher of Kadampa Meditation Center Colorado in Denver. She possesses a great wealth of knowledge and experience of Buddhism. She has been studying and practicing meditation and Buddhism for more than 34 years. She has taught extensively in Colorado, Florida, California and the UK. For many years, she has also helped to edit and produce many of the books by the internationally renowned meditation master Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. The works of Geshe Kelsang Gyatso are widely regarded as the most comprehensive presentation of Buddhism available in any Western language.
Gen Kelsang Rinzin
Gen Kelsang Rinzin was appointed teacher at Heruka Buddhist Center, in Fort Collins, CO, in the summer of 2005 after sincerely practicing Buddhism and working for various Centers. He is an American Buddhist monk, ordained in 2004 by Ven. Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
He communicates his love of Dharma with a down to earth approach and humor that helps others to appreciate and understand the teachings and put them into practice. His teachings are clear and practical so that the listener can readily integrate the methods for keeping a peaceful mind into their busy, modern life.
Gen Kelsang Lhadron
Gen Lhadron is an American Buddhist nun who has been practicing Kadampa Buddhism for 15 years and is a student of Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso.
Gen Lhadron’s sincere teachings are presented with humor and practical examples that make them accessible to everyone. Through her kindness and enthusiasm for meditation practice, she provides an inspiring example of a modern Buddhist practitioner for our society. Gen Lhadron was the Resident Teacher at KMC New Mexico for 5 years.
Charley DeLisle has been studying and practicing Kadam Dharma since 1996. He began teaching in 1998 in Santa Barbara. Since that time he has completed a number of meditation retreats, including a 3 month silent retreat at Tharpaland International Retreat Center in Scotland. Charley enjoys sharing the practical nature of Dharma, and how meditation can help solve our daily problems.
